When I asked mom to describe E. to me she said “she is just E.!” She couldn’t have said it better! Miss E. was such a beautiful and delightful little girl! I was lucky to spend some time with her and her wonderful parents yesterday!
Looking at timeless images of children makes my heart pound. I love a look that can’t be dated, as the childhood essence and innocence transcends generations and time. I was so lucky to photograph this beautiful family at such a wonderful location, and that they agreed to go along with my vision of creating timeless art. I have so many favorites I will have to share separate posts for each of their beautiful children!

It was such a pleasure to photograph him! It was 90 degrees out but we decided to go ahead with the shoot anyways. Mommy D, it was worth the sweating and panting! Here are some of my favorites!

Childhood. When I want to sum it all up in my brain as a single image, I think of little girls and boys playing barefoot in fields and farms. I think of giggles and dreams, and wonder and enchantment. I love that this wonderful and beautiful family let me capture everything I perceive childhood to be!
